So why pianoman? I get that question a lot. It just fits in the way I do the life thing. For anyone wondering, (yes, I know you're out there) I do play the piano and have been doing so for about 18 years. Last year I stepped it up a notch with the release of my first album. I looked into other labels but in the end found it was best to go my own route. March of last year I founded C-MINOR records and released 'Symphonic Remembrance.'
Yes, last year was a landmark in my life. In the mix of starting my label, my buddy Jim asked me to go see Spiderman 3 with him. Cooooooool!!!!!!!!!! So I go, and just when I think Jim had given up on fixing me up, I get pushed down the aisle of the theatre. "Go sit next to my friend Vanessa." Oh hell, he's still at it. To make things seem even better (and I know what your thinking,"ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaa! he should have seen that from a mile away!") I find out later that Vanessa had said "No way! No way am I going out with that long haired music man!". Now with my ego just about to bust, Jim calls me up on july 25th, "let's go see Harry Potter". I pause to let that sink in......................................ok, so I thought maybe he had fallen and hit his head, so I play along. So we get there, and stupid me walks in and I hear Jim say "look there's Vanessa, go sit by her." Holy hell! he did it again! Now I know I've gone on about this for a while, but trust me, there is a moral to the story. And the moral of the story is, 'Never rush to judge and always look at the situation twice.' I thought my life was pretty good up until now but you will never believe how much better life can get. Vanessa and I got married on December 15th. In two months time I wrote nine songs for her and produced my second album, 'No Longer Nameless' (yet to be released) and i can honestly say, life could'nt be better.
